The snakes are starting to come out now that it is spring and it is warming up. The males are roving outside of their own territory looking for mates. If you see a snake where there has not been one one before it is probably a male looking for some action. It is best to leave them alone, or if you have to get a professional to remove them. Generally snakes are not interested in confrontation and if left alone will go on their way. They are a bit like people; treat them with courtesy and respect and they will do the same.
