The song Be Calm gets my vote for best song recorded in the past - TopicsExpress

The song Be Calm gets my vote for best song recorded in the past decade. The music soars, with a really fun and audacious arrangement. Beethoven would have approved of the orchestral crescendo (bringing in instruments one at a time). I also find myself thinking this band is the reincarnation of Freddie Mercurys Queen. Heres my analysis of whats so fun about the musical arrangement: Intro: solo accordion, add string quartet, Verse: add (male) lead vocals, add soft electric guitar chords, add synthesizer with flute patch, Chorus: remove everything but electric guitar and lead vocals, add back string quartet, Verse: add bass, celeste, tambourine, add female lead vocals, add flute. add thumps and hand claps, sing the word theremin and add that instrument too! Chorus: add snare drum and trumpet fanfare! add chimes! Bridge: cut back to electric guitar, synth, bass, drums, lead vocals, add wild screaming electric guitar patch, sing those vocals really freaking high! cut to with electronic automobile siren... Chorus: bring back all the previous instruments, use electric guitar power chords, include Baroque-style arpeggios with wild synth harpsichord sound, Ending: pare back to accordion, string quartet, final bass chord. youtube/watch?v=7qMXBUjm8tM
