The spacious firmament on high, With all the blue ethereal - TopicsExpress

The spacious firmament on high, With all the blue ethereal sky, And spangled heavens, a shining frame, Their greatest original proclaim: Thunwearied sun, from day to day, Does his Creators power display, And publishes to every land the work of an Almighty hand. A British poet by the name of Joseph Addison (1672~1719) wrote this hymn. It contains the final portion of a homily that addresses the correct method to affirm ones faith relative to the reinterpreted content of Psalm 19:1-6. He explained that this hymn is regarding The creation of Heaven and Earth by transcendental God in order to best proclaim His existence. The contents of this hymn serve as a means to praise God who has created all things and dwells in the universe. The lyrics are borrowed from Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) in The Heavens are Telling that appears in Creation. Stars move by the force of gravitational pull, and the stars that constantly revolve around the Sun are called planets. Among them is the Earth, a planet that moves in close proximity to the Sun. However, if the Earths axles were mistakenly out of place, then it would either burst into flames or become frozen. The numerous stars in the sky move according to proper orbit. This hymn contains significant scientific knowledge. How remarkable and thankful it is that the God who has created and dwells in the universe is my father and the master of my life! One has no choice but to praise Him with this truth alone. - Remnant Prayer Journal
