The story? Her name is Beatrix. Why? I did not know until yesterday. Habersham Shelter took in a cruelty case that was seized and the reason she was seized was because she had been beaten with a machete by a piece of human trash. In a shelter environment, the first thing they do is administer the necessary shots, get them medical care needed, and fill out the paper work. It has to be done, and its why Beatrix is alive and well and happy. But, things happen fast at first. First? You got to place a name on the paperwork......her name, on the rabies certificate? Machete Dog. That is not being cruel in naming her that....thats just being honest and getting her fixed fast. The name Beatrix? After meeting the charmer that runs that place....I actually love the name. She loves every pet there. She sees pain and abuse every day but she rolls with it and tries to keep it fun...so, I found out yesterday that the movie Kill Bill? Uma Thurman, in her role, wielded a machete....and her name in that movie? Beatrix....So, I love it. Heres the good news. Beatrix? I call her B. She will probably live here until her new parents take her. Ill advise that when it is finalized. She has since met Jack Biggie and Breezy....and she is now proudly pronounced....SOCIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She pees and poops outside. So far, no mistakes in a vehicle or in a room. If you look up pet aggressive in the dictionary, it will say Not Beatrix....{B} Ive now spent 11 hours on the road with her and one night in a hotel with her and two hours at our home....and I dont know how you can be beaten and cut with a machete.....yet still love and wag your tail and make friends with pets and be so wonderful.
