The theatrical curtain has closed on the most recent soap opera performance of our government officials. But do not despair! The curtain will open again on January 15th for the next dramatic episode of “How to Bam-Boozle the Tax Payer”. Be advised, there’ll be no mention of another 5 week paid vacation the politicians award themselves to celebrate two holidays - Christmas and New Year’s Day. Besides, everyone should realize by now that a bipartisan deal on government spending isn’t a big deal at all and can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. That’s been proven twice in as many years. Government spending policy has not been changed, none is going to change, and no changes were ever seriously considered. It’s all a scripted act that keeps repeating with the same result. IF PEOPLE WANT A CHANGE THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE WHO THEY VOTE FOR!!
