:The thing I hear the most from listeners and fans is that they miss me and my show. But then when I offer them Exclusive Content on connectpal/spencer-hughes, many balk and get downright nasty and defensive. Ive even had people turn their backs on me. Imagine my NERVE for charging for my content!! Everything should be free? I am giving you HOURS of my life every week...content you have asked me for...but its not worth 16 cents a day? Sorry if I sound angry. I am not angry as much as I am just plain taken aback. And remember, NOTHING is free. When youve listened to me in the past, you have either PAID a subscription to Satellite Radio (much more than I would ever charge) or had to sit through 15 to 18 minutes an hour of commercials. Nothing is free. It just APPEARS to be free. Anyway, thanks for listening. I will NOT apologize for trying to be self reliant, to support my family, and to stay out of the government trough that countless millions are in today. I wonder how many lawyers, CPAs, architects, scientists, chauffeurs, artists, authors, etc. would give their talents and gifts away for $4.99 a month. My guess is NONE. Again, this is only aimed at those who insist on telling me I have some nerve to try to make a living. To those who have joined me on the ground floor of what I KNOW is destined to be a fantastic adventure for years to come, I cant thank you enough. Once I get enough subscribers, I will be able to deliver to you The Spencer Hughes Show and all of my TONS of extra content whether or not I am employed by anyone or not because I will retain that Intellectual Independence to provide you what YOU want whether I am on a payroll or not. That is an amazing sense of freedom and bliss I focus DAILY on attaining one day. It means The Spencer Hughes Show would be heard everything while theoretically being off the grid and the no longer at the mercy of corporations and conglomerates.Your unyielding faith and support and friendship mean the world to me.
