The things you do while waiting for people to turn up for their appointments .... I just wrote this poem, I hope you enjoy! and yes, you may share. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel Though some say it’s a train Walking through the darkness Will my life ever be the same? It’s not easy to let go of the past Never easy to just forget But learn to forgive is a must A new path we must set When life is overwhelming you And you’re walking that tunnel alone Focus on the pinprick of light at the end Know that your journey has made you grow Life won’t be the same, but that’s OK How you deal with things sets the pace Don’t compare yourself to others This is your life, it’s not a race. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel I can hear the roar of the train It slows down, I jump onboard I’ve decided my life won’t be the same For where this train takes me Is something I do not know But everyone’s life is a journey And I’m willing to face it all and grow So, bring on the unexpected The hurt the laughter and tears The happiness and sunshine I’m going to live some interesting years.
