The thrill of Great Western mainline steam today! A short video of two GWR Castles passing each other at speed, 4-6-0 No.5029 Nunney Castle passes No.5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe just outside Plymouth last Sunday, 10th May. The pair were originally supposed to have passed each other further east somewhere near Totnes, but ended up passing outside Laira shed in Plymouth instead. The open water seen in the background is the estuary of the River Plym.
