Princess Diana paperdolls, watching Batman on her big screen with flour on my face, red lipstick and one of her big hats so I would look just like the jokers girl, moss houses, learning about animals and nature, her day lilly island that made me feel like a pixie, riding in the back of truck watching through the windows on the topper for the huge planes on the naval base, learning to make the best cookies in the world (just a few of my favorite memories with her.) 4. No matter how bad she thinks she looks or how bad her day has been, if I need to lay on her bed with my head in her lap, I always have an open invitation. 3. When she knows Im going through a rough spot I can always expect a beautifully written letter from her saying exactly what I need to hear. The way she has managed to keep the love of all things that define family and children at the forefront of her life. She has devoted her life to nurturing others and would drop anything to help any of us. 2. Today we celebrate 70 amazing years that God has lent her to us. When I say she is one of my best friends and that my life has been abundantly blessed by having her in it, it really doesnt seem like enough for everything she has helped me through and all of her encouragement and advice. So Ill just say, I love you Bonnie Sowell more than I can express and I thank God everyday that he made you my Nana and gave me a kindred spirit in this life. Happy Birthday, woman!!!
