The true reason why unemployment is high in our community has nothing to do with a stimulus or welfare state. The core root of the problem lies within the lack of education. There is a direct correlation between unemployment and education. We simply refuse to pick up a new skill to keep us competitive. Most jobs are not industrialized and even unionized but are rooted in the technology sector. This includes alternative energy jobs as well as the service industry.
