The truth continues to surface. What we encountered more than 10 years ago gave us impetus to start GPS, that is: mold harming occupants, buildings sustaining significant damage and loss of value and a serious lack of professional, qualified service providers. For all of our company history, we have been informing, educating and imploring architects, designers, developers, builders and property managers to pay attention to and take action to prevent and/or properly deal with mold and other microbial issues. Buildings can be built with prevention in place, proper knowledge is available to understand the basics quickly and awareness is a necessity, allowing decision makers to react and correct damaging issues immediately. The Dateline expose noted below is a first for network TV - mold IS a CAUSE of asthma, not just an allergen. Studies have documented this causal relationship, but so many remain uninformed.
