The uninformed and irresponsible conduct and reporting technique - TopicsExpress

The uninformed and irresponsible conduct and reporting technique of the The Sheffield Star in todays publication stating the headline of Bulldozers beckon at pub, with a sub title of another watering hole bites the dust and the un investigated opinion of reporter Molly Lynch that the South Sea has failed to win over punters long term whilst we are running a vibrant and exciting new business venture, and against all odds of making it a success story, is tantamount in our opinion as an attack on all the hard work, passion and perseverance that we at the South Sea in the past two and a half years have dedicated ourselves to, in turning around this once dead in the water public house. David has been, this morning in a meeting with the assistant editor of the Sheffield Star who agreed that this story doesnt actually include the full facts and has offered to run a follow up story to make clear to everyone what is actually happening. We are currently in negotiation with our legal team and are being advised on whether the Sheffield Star is liable for damaged to our business and reputation as a fresh and exiting hub of culture in the Broomhill area of the city. We at the South Sea feel unconsidered, disappointed and aggrieved at the negativity and this article has provoked. I can only apologise to our customers and all the bands who have been in support of the South Sea and when the true and informed story is published then I hope that people out there realise how bad reporting can instigate insecurity and can potentially damage peoples business and livelihood. In the meantime and for the foreseeable future, as far as we are concerned the South Sea will be running business as usual, as a free house hopefully for the next 5 years....More news to come shortly. Your comments are very welcome and would be very much appreciated.
