The uranium/nuclear industry demands us to accept the risks to our health and safety that occur from every aspect of their business. The problem is when things go wrong, and they do go wrong, every living thing on this planet is affected and will be continue to be affected for all generations to come. The CNSC, the safety regulators of this industry in Canada, has tried to down play the risk by comparing it to a jetliner crash. There is no comparison. That is tragic for the families of the people killed but it is not a global catastrophe. They call people who warn against their industry fear-mongers yet they are the ones in charge of creating the danger to us ALL. The uranium/nuclear industry have been caught lying and reporting levels as safe that are proven not to be so many times their words of assurance to the public can be called nothing but propaganda that cannot be trusted.
