The video is from a friend of mine who lives in Iraq and was an interpreter for us on FOB Delta. I worry for him, since I saw him last he has a wife and child, I wish for him one day the only thing he has to worry about is what to get his child for her birthday! If the average American had to deal with this, I am sure they would have a little bit different attitude about It not our problem! I saw a lady speak one day and she was talking about the Israel and Hamas, a great point she made was that in history 25% of the bad actors made did bad stuff, while the other 75% ignored or looked away, Germany was a very good example in 1939 to 1945. Whether you agreed with us going into Iraq or not, once we gave blood and treasure and took away the Iraqis ability to fight, we had a responsibility that we shirked when we left them in the lurch. They were not ready to take care of themselves, but because it was politically expedient we left them on their own. Can you imagine what would have happened if South Korea, Japan, Germany would have been left to their own after we bombed them into the stone age, oh and folks we are still in those countries. It takes a couple of generations to develop a cultural mindset. For those that talked about money, what would have been wrong for us to take oil to pay for the occupation? Who has their oil now? China for one! OK I am off my soap box!
