The view from my cabin today; Change is imminent, although I cannot smell it yet, I feel it and it see with my eyes the changes beginning to transfer the season....I know what comes and yet it has not come to pass. My memory holds for me things of the past, the smell of the leaves, fires burning and fall rain. As in our life with Christ Romans 12:2 Be transformed by the renewing of your mind; it is our responsibility to see to it that there be a change in us. Conversion and sanctification are the renewing of the mind, a change not of substance but of quality of our soul. It is the same with making a new heart, a new spirit. New thoughts and new dispositions come, new enlightenments that must be rectified and bowed to the will of God and affections made heavenly, so that man is not what he used to be.... Old things are passed away, all things become new.... God gave us the seasons of nature to better teach us this principle.
