Ian MURDEY (VM40-44) of Beaumont RC, was second over the line in 16:58. Ben ASHCROFT (JM15-19) of Shrewsbury AC, was third over the line in 17:12. Current standing in the Mens annual points competition: Paul WILLIAMS (Shropshire Shufflers) 1311 pts. Richard MCKENNA (Shropshire Shufflers) 1133 pts. Peter HUGHES (Unattached) 1078 pts. Womens placings: May DAVIS (JW14) (Unattached) was first (20th overall) over the line in 20:12 - first time in 4 appearances. Anna-Maria WAKE (JW14) of Shrewsbury AC, was second (54th overall) over the line in 22:20. Rosie CARR (JW14) (Unattached) was third (58th overall) over the line in 22:38. Current standing in the Womens annual points competition: Michelle HUGHES (SYtri) 1154 pts. Emma PRESTON (Unattached) 1115 pts. Amanda BAXTER (Unattached) 927 pts. The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores: Rosie CARR (JW14) was graded 86.30% for the time 22:38 (58th overall). Jimmy KERSHAW (JM15-19) was graded 84.38% for the time 16:00 (first overall). Carole MORGAN (VW65-69) was graded 84.25% for the time 25:11 (118th overall). This week there were 324 runners, of whom 72 were first timers and 103 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part. Shrewsbury parkrun started on 28th September 2013, and since then 1,287 different runners, including participants from 69 athletics clubs, have completed 3,879 runs covering a total distance of 19,395 km, and there have been 1,144 new Personal Bests. The womens record is held by Nicola DAVIES who ran in a time of 00:18:52 on 2013-10-12 (event number 3). The mens record is held by Joe BROCKLEHURST who ran in a time of 00:15:47 on 2013-12-07 (event number 11). The Age Grade course record is held by Rosie CARR who recorded a 86.30% run (22:38) on 25th January 2014 (event number 16).
