The work of each will become known; for the day will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. 1 Cor. 3:13 Your reason or motive for doing the things you do is very important. God wants you to have a pure heart. He wants you to do things because He is leading you to do them or because they are the right things to do. God wants you to be motivated by love. You should do what you do for the love of God and humanity. You should regularly take some time and ask yourself why you are doing the things you do. It is not what you do that impresses God; He is concerned with the why behind what you do. Ask God to reveal your motives to you and to change any that are not pure ~ Power Thoughts Power Thought: God sees in me a pure heart; my motives are not hidden from Him.
