The world is slowly coming to its climax, where we end up killing our own species off. We can get behind these movements, and it does help humanity if it stays peaceful, but unless we look further into the other many things we can change we are still running in place. You cant change the world but you can change yourself - Lee Bennett said it 15 or more years ago and it still stands true. Stop glorifying violence on worldstar and then being upset when violence hits close to home. Stand firm against any form of dehuminization, bullying, torture, violence, police brutality, aninal cruelty, abuse physical or mental, not just the kind that relate to you. It has to be a permanent mind set, it cant be a part time belief. You have to ask yourself, am i happy with the way the world is becoming and if the answer is no, then dont just point the finger around, look deep within yourself at what u can change, that can make a difference. Lead by example. No one will take any of this seriously once looting begins. It allows them off the hook. It makes the protesters look like part of the problem. You cant fight violence with violence. Vandalizing nearby businesses is just negative attention and has nothing to do with the problem at hand. Its merely an extra distraction they can focus on to take attention away from the actual problem that occured. Lets do better.
