The world that is definitely headed for innovation in new business strategies is witnessing strange, unreal and fascinating things. Makers of many movies which have made “god” their unique selling point do not understand that while they attempt their so called noble endeavours, they are actually playing the minds of a lot of innocent & vulnerable Indians. Unlike other countries where movies are a part of entertainment, India is a different market altogether. A place where Mr. Amitabh Bachchan & Rajnikant is considered godlike, it’s imperative that the new film makers show responsibility towards content creation which has the ability to change the way people will look at world. Movie Industry in India attracts every business man alike. The opportunity to amass wealth through movies is embedded deep in every businessman alike, though only some have the courage to take the plunge. But, its rather shocking to someone who calls him a saint declares himself the messenger of God. The subtle mindset change the movies create actually travels through generations. Messenger of god is an outright cry for attention. The movie intends to use the earnings for the treatment of Thalassemia patients and HIV research. Wow. But having seen the trailers of the film, isn’t it very obvious the film must have been in huge budget. Well, we if the movie didn’t have to prove that Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan is the next best thing happened to humanity, the money raised for production could also been made better use of, probably for the same cause. The time is not far away, when Mata Rajkumari, Sri Paramgyaani Parmatamaji, Sri Meinbhagwan hoon Singhji and many other random names from different parts of our countries will be seen on the box Office. They all will be saying that the earnings of film will go to some noble cause or another. But we all know, it’s a marketing gimmick to position themselves narcissistically. I condemn the release of this Pathetic Film- Messenger of God, which was refused by us in the Revising Committee of CBFC.
