The worst feeling just came over me as I walked into my garage which was filled w/smoke from our neighbors bonfire b/c Dan forgot to close the door ---the strong smell immediately caused me to flashback to girl scout camp at Camp Ehawee and become physically ill. I hated that camp. I hate bugs, tents, sleeping next to multiple people that I dont know, camp food, team activities, wearing swim caps, scheduled meal times, and the outdoors in general. My most vivid memory is the night I threw up in my sleep [probably b/c of the nasty food] all over myself and my bedding, and then I had to walk down a trail in the dark by myself while still ill to the spider infested bathrooms to clean up my bedding and myself, and then return to my mosquito net covered cot to sleep with no bedding while hugging an ice cream bucket for my vomit. Thanks Camp Ehawee for the worst 2 weeks of my life....Im forever scarred. So, no, my children will not be attending camp.
