The worst thing about attending the East Point mayoral debate Tuesday evening? Hearing one of the candidates use the tired,fallacious cliche that young people(or people of any age)dont commit crime for the hell of it,they do it because theyre poor. S....M....H!!! Really,really? This person ever hear of the Leopold and Loeb thrillkiller case?Two rich dudes. Who murdered people-well,not technically for the hell of it,to prove they could do it and get away with because they were oh so superior compared to regular people. It still makes that argument invalid.
