Thelma Marie Jackson (July 6, 1928 - November 2, 2014) Thelma Marie Jackson, 86 of East Lynn, WV passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Brother A.J. Perry and Brother Paul Triplett. Burial will follow at Mills-Vaughan Cemetery. She was born July 6, 1928 in East Lynn, WV, a daughter of the late Elbert and Cora Blevins. Her husband, Fisher Jackson also preceded her in death, along with a brother, Barney Blevins and a great-nephew, J.R. Ramey. Survivors include her sister and soul mate, Theo Mills; five step-children, Gladys, Joyce, Braxton and Frank; two special nieces, Linda and Judy; and a host of special friends and wonderful church family. Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV. A special thanks to her health nurse, Karen Daniels and to Dr. Tackett. Mamaw was a faithful member of Nestlow United Baptist Church for Respect of the Family there will be no Sunday School or Sunday 2:00 oclock service.
