There are a lot of things that impact me in my life and one of those things is music. I love music!! On my maternal side of my family we all love to sing and dance. In fact, a lot of my uncles (dem Mayfield boys) were known for known for dancing. I sang with friends in school even sang in a group going to differant cities singing at churches. One of my cousins is a minister of music, another a DJ in Beamount...man do we love music! I was jammin to some John Legend today and the words took me back to Port Arthur TX...to a little yellow house on 14th street just a few locks from Blackies who had the best boudine this side of the, around the corner from a BBQ joint that had the best links (P.A folks know a REAL link) on Gulfway....it became Kittys at one time but I cant remember the name; to walking up the street to get a cool cup from the brick house right next to the track...Im talking about my Grandmas house.
