There are currently fires burning all over San Diego county (my family and friends are safe, but there are lots of families right now that could use your good thoughts or prayers!) but its made me start thinking about disaster preparedness and what Id pack if we ended up being evacuated. Im about to pack the car up with some items just in case, and Ill definitely be packing flats and covers in case we end up with limited laundry resources for one reason or another (I hadnt PLANNED to participate in the Flats and Handwashing challenge, but I suppose there is always the chance I might end up doing it out of necessity!) Even if you prefer AIOs or other fancy diapering methods, you might want to think about buying a few flats (flour sack towels come in a pack of 5 for $1, so there isnt much up front cost!) just to have on hand for emergencies :) Stay safe, everyone! ~ Carolyn
