There are days when your training sessions are anything but impressive. Tonight was one of those nights for me. Some of the techniques in Silat were unfamiliar to me, my Sumbrada should have been way more efficient, and my padwork in JKD was heinous. But having the chance to learn directly from one of the worlds most legendary martial artists, to be partnered with genuinely good, patient, skilled people, and to have the chance to explore my weaknesses and act to improve them in a safe environment are factors that make evenings like tonight so deeply memorable & rewarding!
