There are good people, even in Gloversville, no matter what anyone says. I was at an apt building in Gloversville this afternoon where I had to park in a parking lot out behind the building, across the street. When I went inside it was not raining so I left my umbrella in the car. When I came out, it was pouring rain. Not wanting to get totally drenched I decided to wait a few minutes to see if the rain let up enough to make it across the street. While I was waiting a lady came in and had a large umbrella. She offered me her umbrella to use, which I gladly accepted and told her I would drive back across the street to return it. What a nice thing to do for a complete stranger. I could not thank her enough for her kindness. I just want everyone to know that there really are nice people left in Gloversville, which I never doubted.
