There are many in the media who are saying that it was wrong to release the video because it has nothing to do with the shooting death of Michael Brown. Pay attention, boys and girls. . . because nothing could be further from the truth. The video goes DIRECTLY to the state of mind of Michael Brown. Hes clearly not some innocent child walking down the street. Hes obviously capable of and willing to engage in physical violence. He was openly carrying the items he stole from the convenience store. And when confronted by the officer, theres no way that Brown could have known if Officer Wilson knew about the robbery or not, so it is likely he assumed he would be apprehended. Under the circumstances, it is more reasonable to assume that Brown tried to get the officers weapon as alleged, than it is to think he simply put up his hands and was executed by the policeman. And by the way, at this time, the only witness Im aware of that told the hands up story was with Brown when the store was robbed. I find it disgusting that some people seem ready to believe someone who is at best an accessory to a robbery and dismiss out of hand the idea that the officer was doing his job.
