There are many sizable lakes here in north-central Indiana. One in particular is called Webster Lake, somewhere near 500 acres, I think. Plenty big enough that they have an active water sky, and three times a year they put on a show. I just happened to see a sign in the little town of North Webster advertising that today was one of those “Ski” days. I figured this was a good time for me to practice up on the shutter priority mode. It was a bit chilly, and quite windy, but these guys put on quite a show. Shutter speeds ranged from 1/250 to 1/800, depending on when the sun was shining brightly or clouds forced slower shutter speeds. Here’s what I came away with… all 17 photos.
