There are many stories you will hear about ordinary people going about their lives doing life things like sitting in an office, having lunch, dreaming dreams, driving in traffic etc. These lives are utterly devoid of challenges, quests, damsels in distress, treasures hidden in caves guarded by trolls who have sworn to protect the contents because of a curse that they ...wait, where was I? Ah yes, life most ordinary. This, dear reader, IS NOT SUCH A STORY! For if you choose to read further know that you will hear about fierce challenges, perilous ice, uncommon generosity, feats of endurance (superhuman, natch), online donations, social media wizardry, poorly shot video ... and that holiest of grails:HASHTAGS! If anyone had money on me being the last person in the world to participate in worldwide craze, sadly you can now forget about putting your kids through college on the winnings.
