There are only three foreign students at my Shaolin house. One of them is a graduate of Cornel University. I contacted Shanghai University of Sport about him, and it looks like they may be able to offer him a scholarship for his MA, and he will start school in September. That is pretty exciting. So many people have done nice things for me and helped me on my way. Now, I’ve had an opportunity to give some good back to the universe. He doesn’t speak Chinese well enough to do the MA. So, hopefully, he will get the same deal my friend AJ got, which is that they get a scholarship to do a full year of intensive Chinese and martial arts training. Then after they pass the Chinese exam, they can start their MA.
