There are so many wonderful , plentiful reasons I love living in Jackson County and even more so our close knit community of Moorescreek. This evening, Paul and I were following each other in seperate vehicles and as we neared the end of our road, a group of cars and neighbors that we know were parked across from a home & mini farm that was auction and purchased by a Amish family. Due to the house being on the market for a while and the realtor not hiring a person to mow & do upkeep the exterior of the place is very growed up and will take several days if not weeks to clear . This fantastic group of people who Paul and I know and love were discussing and making plans to help our new neighbors to clear the yard and adjoining field. We tried to convience them to practice first ...say like on our place before they attempted this place but I dont think we got anywhere. But isnt that great seeing neighbors helping one another and what a way to make them feel welcome. I think we will roll up our sleeves too. Feeling blessed at Moorescreek.....
