There are some folks who only specialise in the fine art of back-handed compliments. Their lives are a litany of ifs, buts, howevers. I know it will show up in the second line of their message. You know what. I read what you have to say. But I take pride in everything I do & I am not about to start living my life to match your fake standards. If you are the subject of my photoshoot & your hair is out of place, I will fix it for you. If sweat is appearing on your forehead I will do the tissue dab for you. And when I sit down to write the story, I will always know the space is finite but I will try my darnest to keep the soul of the story intact. There are many other things I do with my life, like women across the globe. Which is why my life leaves me no space, my head no bandwidth for ifs, buts, howevers.
