"There are times when intelligent statements have to be expressed with emotion. Emotion forms the energy component of communication. Without it, the signal might be weak and the message without strength. That is why sometimes intellectual people expressing intellectual thoughts need to do so with accompanying emotion as well. It is to make the signal strong enough to override any interference signals and resistance both actual and potential. Smart people always overcompensate when in doubt. They only speak in a more neutral and softer tone when they are in a space where they’re certain to experience no interference signals and the least amount of resistance. Sometimes, it is important to build up emotion or to put in emotion when saying something that one knows is important, because it is important enough to do it like this."
