There has been a lot of talk of late about racism in America today and whether we live in post racial society. Now, I don’t claim to have any answers to the pertinent questions of modern, racial relations in America. I have, however, devised a test that I’m certain will become the gold standard of detecting racism in white males. This, hitherto, unknown test will be the Rorschach test of the future and will alter the face of race relations in America forever. It’s a little convoluted so bear with me and I will describe it in layman’s terms. You take the test subject, blindfold him and take him to an area, still blindfolded of course, where, directly in front of him, he will see, when the blindfold is removed, a tree, eighteen feet of rope and bound and gagged black male. The blindfold is removed, at the very instant the blindfold is removed, a loud, crazed, voice, with a pronounced Southern accent screams, “HANG HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” directly into his ear. The level of racism will be determined by the number of nanoseconds that expire before our test subject goes into full, “LYNCH” mode. Obviously different parts of the country will have different reaction times. Munford TN will be different than say, Flagstaff AZ. Age must play a factor as well. Of course, the implications of this test are staggering and we are on the cusp of identifying the worst among us. It is a new day, America.
