There have been a few negative comments that Id like to respond to in case anyone else has the same confusion. I am quite aware of the care for a cats eyes. See Easter for further details on that. She was a worse case scenario kitty and suffered horribly from her eye. Thats why I rushed to get him just as soon as I got the email from the lady today. I started him on amoxi and erithromyacin as soon as hed eaten and I got the goop cleaned off his eyes. He is in good spirits and other than the eyes I think hes completely healthy. He stands a good chance of being ok. My experience with a white cloudy eye is that it has to be removed. The other eye has blood in the iris and it is sunken into the skull. I dont know what that means which is why he will go to Virginia Tech first thing Monday morning. THEY are experiences professionals and are the best that I know of. Obviously, Im not into mutilating animals as some folks have commented. If this kitty can bounce back and V Tech believes his eyes are savable, of course I will save them! That is the ENTIRE reason I got him today when I have 5000 other things going on. I wanted him to have eye treatment immediately. Plus, I am taking him to V Tech because they are not the normal vet who would likely suggest removing both eyes. They are extremely experience and I trust that they will do whatever they can to help this poor relative of Bones and Maxs keep his eyes. I know that right now he cannot see at all though. If you have ignorant negative comments, you are not welcome here. It is embarrassing to everyone. I do not want to post the rescue or folks that are harassing me and Easters fans but I will if thats what it takes. This site is positive and will remain that way.
