There is a Watch and Act message for Galah, Gypsum, Dering, Mittyack, Paignie, Patchewollock, Rownack, Speed, Tiega, Timberoo, Timberoo South, Turriff, Turriff East, Walpeup, Willa, Yarto, Kulwin, Lascelles, Turriff West, Boorongie, Boorongie North, Bronzewing, Pier Milan, Tempy and Kulwin Mine camp. There is a largebushfire travelling in the Bronzewing Flora and Fauna Reserve 12 km South West of #Ouyen. This bushfire is currently not yet under control. However firefighters are actively managing the fire and are working closely with the local community. The Sunraysia Highway is closed between the Calder Highway intersection and Speed. An alternative route will need to be taken. Traffic management is in place. Murray Sunset, Hattah Kulkyne and Wyperfeld National Parks and the Big Desert Wilderness Park are closed to the public. Dont wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
