There is a great folly in being anything with an ist at the end of it. To be an ist, youre limiting your work to a very linear line of action. To focus on one thing, youre excluding the potential of other paths and ideas. The absolute result of this exclusion is a growing animosity to all other paths which do not inherently support your constructed identity - and make no mistake, everything is a matter of perception. Your perception is based upon your gender, your cultural identity, your friends, and your likes and dislikes, and mostly, your own personal experiences with pain and pleasure. Like all perceptions, they are singular to you and you naturally relate with people who have similar perceptions. It all comes down to feeling meaningful and a part of something. This is fine. However, the more permanent you try and cement your identity with an ism (or as an ist), the more you must vilify more and more people, concepts and things in order to convince yourself that your chosen ism is the One True Path. This is the folly of many murderous religions, cults and political entities. The most convincing ones always start biting at noble goals - but again, make no mistake, there is only one noble goal, and it is inherently personal and exists in harmony, for that noble goal is personal to each person, free of our petty boundaries and yet shared by every one of us. Please keep your isms to yourself when interacting with me. Share, talk, debate even, further your goals and missions, but keep your Self in mind, and understand that whoever you are talking to is more than your colored idea of them. They are a complex and inherently label-defying being just like you. Nature is not always fair, but nature always changes. We are evolving as a species and as individuals. Never forget that, and learn to take responsibility for your own life, ideas, words and actions. So, if you must now angrily assault my status or un-friend me or call me out in some crusade your foster, please do. Do what thou wilt. Its your business entirely what emotions, feelings and opinions your inner ego vomits forth in reference to me. You cant entirely know me, and I cant entirely know you. We CAN bond, talk, relate, and enjoy each other, perhaps indulge in positive magick, but you can never CHANGE what you cant even know. Change happens as it does, as mysterious as death. Id say that if this post angers you, you have issues with control. That again, is your issue, and not mine.
