There is a lot going on this time of year, but there is something very important to focus on this week: On Wednesday, December 10, the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act will have a hearing in DC. Do not be fooled. This bill prohibits mandatory labeling of GMOs in the U.S., despite the fact that these ingredients are labeled around the world, and the bill would trump states rights. It is so important that members of Congress hear from you, especially parents and grandparents of children with food allergies.
