There is a photo that is circling the internet now in various forms of media of a photo of where a parent claims to have captured an image of their child who unfortunately passed away. While I understand the grief this family feels as I have lost loved ones as well, I must say that I am rather disturbed at the fact that this photo is showing up on supposedly Christian websites under titles such as God still performs miracles. Again, my heart goes out to the family who suffered this loss but hope does not come in a photo of a supposed dead child. Hope in Jesus Christ. If our loved ones placed their trust in Him and in Him alone, then we can rest assured that they are with Him for all eternity. Whats more, they are healed of everything they suffered from here on earth and will never suffer again. I encourage all of my fellow believers to not buy into emotional thoughts that will lead away from the truth that our loved ones cannot send us messages from eternity. You will not find that in Scripture at all. And speaking of the Word, I encourage all of you to submit yourselves to the leading of the Holy Spirit to guide you through the Word as if we enter the Word with our own eyes the flesh will twist it to say anything and everything and we will be deceived. Also, get Godly counsel on this subject from a pastor who has completely surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and who is a pastor who is led by the Spirit to preach the rightly divided Word. Overall, stay in the Word my friends on this subject and all others as to stand on anything else is to stand on sinking sand.
