There is a reason were called RateMyHealthCoverage not RateMyHealthInsurance. Well grant something very true to critics, health insurance isnt insurance by definition, we really do have a healthcare system based on pre-payment plans and third-party payers. There are very good and solid economic reasons why western industrialized nations organize their healthcare delivery and payment systems in such a fashion. Thats why we call it COVERAGE, thats just the way it works. And it hasnt made sense economically or morally for tens of millions of Americans: those with economic challenges, people with pre-existing or chronic conditions, and those ages 50+ who have been un-insurable in the individual market and had been just hanging on until Medicare ... to have been locked out of the healthcare system. As well as millions if not tens of millions more job locked to particular employers or professions just for group health. Change this big of the status quo cannot have been expected to be pulled off perfectly smoothly, and there are way too many parties, stakeholders, and special interests of the status quo who of course will continue to attack and attempt to derail this reform.
