There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under - TopicsExpress

There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven; He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 1:2-11 One thing we know for sure... life is continually changing. It seems like as soon as we get comfortable in a particular season of our lives something comes along that rocks our boat, or, at the very least, challenges us in some way we had not prepared for or expected. Thats just the nature of this life! No two days are ever exactly the same in this fast paced, ever evolving world. So at times it may cause us to become unsettled and even fearful at the thought of what could possibly be around the next corner. And while we cannot prepare for all the things we dont know, we can trust the One who does know. We need to remember that while life holds many uncertainties, our God is never uncertain as to His purposes or His plans for us. We may get knocked off our feet but God is never taken off guard or surprised at the fiery trials that we may face from time to time. In Psalm 71 David talks about three things that we can do continually to keep our hearts secure and our fears away; We can continually go to the Lord in PRAYER, for He is our rock of refuge. We can continually PRAISE our Father, knowing that He has been our confidence since He brought us forth from our mothers womb. And we can continually have HOPE in the Lord Whos faithfulness will never fail. Life changes, and thats a fact. There are good seasons and seasons of pain and adversity, and that is also a fact. Nothing remains the same forever...nothing, that is, except our God. If we dont cling to God in constant prayer, praise and hope we will live in fear of the days to come. But if we rest continually in the arms of our Father, then no shifting winds or changing seasons will ever cause us to fear or tremble, and we will walk in confidence and grace and truly learn to laugh at the days to come. (Pro. 31:25) When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm. Ps. 75:3 Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to the Sovereign God who has purposed your tomorrows since before time began.
