There is no God but You,Glory be to You,Truly I have been one of the wrongdoers (La ill aha illa Anta Subhanaka inni kuntu min adh-dhalimeen) Yunus (Peace be upon him) When settled down, in the belly of the whale, Yunus (Peace be upon him) thought that he was dead. He tried to move his limbs and they moved and thus knew he was alive. And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses,”There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” (al-Anbiyaa21:87) he called out in the darkness(La ill aha illa Anta Subhanaka inni kuntu min adh-dhalimeen) Yunus (peace be upon him) after he said those words, Allah responded to him and saved him. Had he not been of those who glorify Allah And ask forgiveness of God, he would have surely stayed in its belly until the Day of Resurrection. (Surat As-saffat 143:144) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said about it: “No Muslim ever prays to his Lord with these words for anything, but He will answer his prayer.”
