There is no doubting that this version of the song is BAD (meaning good). But I pose a question to fans of Dave Brubecks original Take Five. Is this version less impressive because they play it in a 4/4? Isnt the appeal of the song the fact that its played in a 5/4, a time signature that we rarely hear? Or is it more impressive because they were able to place a song known for one time signature in a different one? I dont know if I have ever experienced that before. If a song is played in an odd time signature, I always here it covered in that same time signature when it is played. I would think it would be hard to do otherwise. Just want to spark a conversation on this topic. Either way, enjoy the song. https://youtube/watch?v=wTy21dTfhJ8
