There is some fantastic work going on in our Resettlement Support Service(RSS) who are currently working to develop a comprehensive support pack for our service users, including: A database of community supports and activities available in Dublin. This will ensure we can provide those service users moving into independent living with a resource that not only points them in the right direction for support but that highlights activities and groups they can get involved in in their new community. We are also developing a Skills for independent living course which we aim to carry out in a number of Depaul Ireland projects, aimed at empowering service users towards independent living. We have made a commitment to take a strong service user led focus to our sessions.
