There is strength in prayer and there is strength in numbers. I asked if I could share this with prayer groups on FB and was given permission. What follows below is a letter asking for people to join in a novena asking God for a miracle through the intercession of Fr. Eric Freed (our recently deceased pastor, whom many of us think was martyred for the Faith) for the healing of Lance Madsen. Please join in the prayers for the nine consecutive days, starting tomorrow, if you can. The Letter: Salutation - Attached you will find a Novena Prayer for Brother Lance. His condition is non- treatable chronic rejection of the donor lung. The Transplant Doctors tell us he has about 2 more months to live. We are asking for a miracle of healing through this Novena. Fr. Eric Freed was a friend and beloved Pastor to all of us and we believe that friendship and Pastoral care continues beyond his death. We want to begin this prayer on Super Bowl Sunday because last year Fr. Eric was in our home watching the game with our family and we were looking forward to having him over again this year. We hope you can join us on February 2, 2014 and for the 8 following days in this Novena Prayer for Brother Lance.
