There is too much division and separation in the black community. Our ancestors fought like hell against the Jim Crow laws and the separate but equal era only for us to impose more restrictions and classifications on us. What sense does that make? Natural vs. relaxed, brown vs black, red vs brown, long hair vs short hair, fat vs skinny, etc and the list is endless. Our community is in shambles, our graduation rate(s) from highs school and/or college are low yet out unemployment, incarceration rate and pregnancy rates are high. Smh....we as a people need to get our ish together. Seriously.
