There once was a little house, Occupied by a young woman, Who loved to watch TV. One night she sat down at the TV, And saw a man in the nearby window. She walked about the parameter of the house, But found no one there. As she sat down again, She felt a chill go down her spine, As a shadow rose above her own, And the owner of that shadow placed his hand upon her mouth. Days passed and no one saw her, Until the day her smell seeped out of the house. Months would pass and the house would be sold, To a mother, a father, and their three children. The father began his work at the morgue, The night shift was already creepy enough, And the last thing he wanted was to hear strange banging. Upon to speaking with his employer, He was given emotional leave. Only to find out that wasn’t what was wrong. Upon his return to the morgue, He found the police, Standing around the door, They wouldn’t allow him entrance. He begged for an explanation and they were reluctant to say: A boy had been sealed in a cell, By a cruel joke and a cruel twist of fate, He was already in the state to be in the cell. Now very distraught, The father returned home to his wife, And suggested they go out for the evening. After a nice dinner, They returned home to a very abrupt phone call. “Have you checked upstairs yet?” A voice cackled before killing the line. The couple were very perplexed. They allowed the phone to ring a few more times, Before going upstairs. They peeked into the childrens’ room and turned on the light, Only to find three bodies sleeping, With no heads to wake up in the morning.
