Update: It has been determined that Suzie Q does have Cushings - TopicsExpress

Update: It has been determined that Suzie Q does have Cushings disease. One of the reasons we are doing this event is because these two pups were rescued and adopted by my husband and I before they were to die. They are both Seniors and we have run into some unexpected expenses. Rosie was full of infection in her mouth and had to have several more teeth pulled and her teeth cleaned. She also has to go to my holistic chiropractor every few weeks so she can walk straight and be somewhat comfortable. No one EVER took care of her or gave her nutrition for the 12 years of her life. Suzie will have to go and be retested every 7-10 days until they get her on the right medication and that is about $140 each test and over $50 for each medication for each time. So our costs are just going up beyond what we expected. We have always paid by ourselves for every rescue and every adoption that we have done but this time it just hit us because we just paid out well over $900 for another rescue that we just adopted out in February. I also have a FR out there and have recouped some of the expense. Suzie Q, Rosie, myself and my husband, Jim thank you for any amount you can comfortably give and if not - a share and a prayer for our Suzie Q and Rosie and their health will be much appreciated. I have posted the bill from last Mondays vet visit and we will have on-going expenses. Again, thank you for caring.
