There was a couple faced with a struggle and their names were Zechariah and Elizabeth. She was old and unable to conceive; however, God blessed them with a son named John. During the celebration Zechariah was filled with the spirit and shared with the people: "And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” We are born with a purpose as Zechariah shares in Luke 1:76-79, this is our absolute purpose in life. It is easy for us to confuse our purpose with our passion in life. If we are a great athlete then our purpose is to become an olympian, coach or a competitor. This is not true, the road does not stop there. If you are a great athlete and love the art of sport then pursue that passion with the purpose to serve God. Our purpose is as Luke 1:76-79 reads, our passion [ what we are good at, what makes us feel alive, our talent and skill ] is simply the material that will help us to accomplish the purpose, to deliver the purpose. There is one purpose and many passions. I encourage everyone to find theirs because you were designed on purpose with a purpose accompanied with a passion that will enable you to deliver the purpose.
