There was a time, before Facebook, when people could not engage in pure narcissistic behavior all day and when you couldnt whine every day to hundreds of people. When people were forced to interact face-to-face this crazy thing happened when you were unpleasant to be around for too long: PEOPLE STOPPED HANGING OUT WITH YOU. This is legitimately one of the things I am looking at in my research finding a topic for my Honors Thesis. Before you post that next conceited statement of awesomeness or another whiney rant ask yourself would I say this to my friends in person? While you may have 500 fb friends how many REAL friends want to listen to how great (or miserable) you are everyday.
